Most pools take five minutes to set up. Agree on the format first, then the deadline, then the tiebreaker. Write all three at the top of the master copy so there is no argument on Monday night.

One correction to make before you hand the sheets out. The card is back to 15 games after three straight 14 game weeks, so confidence pools need the range reset. Everyone must rank 15 down to 1. If half the group uses last week’s range the weekly totals will not compare and somebody will be scored short. For a pool that locks game by game rather than at the Thursday kickoff, this is the pick that settles first, and on the West Coast it settles at 6:30 in the morning. Say so when you hand the sheets out. The other practical note is neutral ground: Atlanta holds a home label in a stadium neither side has played in, and both teams fly the Atlantic for it, so the usual home field reasoning does not apply.

One practical tip. The 4:05 window has two games this week and both are on CBS, while both 4:25 games are on FOX. That is a clean split, so a group watching together can follow the whole late afternoon on two channels without hunting for a third.
