How to Run a Week 6 Pick’em Pool

Week 6 Games That Decide Most Pools
Fourteen games is the thinnest card yet, so each pick carries more weight. These four are where the week is usually won or lost.
- Texans at Jaguars, Sunday 9:30 a.m. The third London game of the season and the only one at Wembley Stadium rather than Tottenham. Jacksonville is the designated home team for the second London game running, having hosted the Eagles there last week, so the Jaguars have not been home in a fortnight. Travel fatigue cuts both ways here.
- Chargers at Chiefs, Sunday 4:25 p.m. Kansas City comes off a bye, so it has had two weeks to prepare for an AFC West rival. Teams returning from a bye are a classic pool trap in both directions.
- Cowboys at Packers, Sunday 8:20 p.m. The only Sunday night game, at Lambeau. Prime time draws heavy pick agreement, which makes it worth less when everybody gets it right and very costly when they do not.
- Commanders at 49ers, Monday 8:15 p.m. The last game of the week, so it is the tiebreaker in most pools and carries double weight. A cross country trip for Washington into a late West Coast kickoff.
One practical tip. Only 12 of the 14 games are on free channels, and two of the three subscription games are the first and last on the sheet. If your pool watches together, the Thursday opener on Prime Video and the London game on NFL Network both need someone with an account before Sunday morning.
