Agree on three things before anyone picks: the format, the deadline and the tiebreaker. Write all three at the top of the master copy so there is no argument on Monday night.

For the tiebreaker, each player writes the total combined points in Eagles at Bears. The market total sits near 43.5, a sensible anchor. Survivor players should note that Kansas City at Miami will be the most crowded pick in most pools. If you want a different path, San Francisco at home to Arizona is the next biggest favorite. Week 3 Games That Decide Most Pools
Week 2 injuries reshaped this slate. Nine road teams are favored, and three lines moved by four points or more. These five need a second look.
- Eagles at Bears, Monday 8:15 p.m. Caleb Williams strained his right hamstring in the 9 to 3 loss to Minnesota. Tests ruled out a major injury and Chicago has not ruled him out, but coach Ben Johnson calls him week to week and expects him to miss some time. Tyson Bagent would start. The line flipped from Bears by 1.5 to Eagles by 4.5.
- Seahawks at Commanders, Sunday 1:00 p.m. Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow against Dallas, so Marcus Mariota takes over. Seattle is 2 and 0 with Drew Lock starting for the injured Sam Darnold, and the line has grown from 2.5 to 6.
- Chiefs at Dolphins, Sunday 1:00 p.m. The biggest spread of the week. Miami is 0 and 2 and has not led at any point this season. Safe for straight up pools, crowded for survivor pools.
- Ravens at Cowboys, Sunday 4:25 p.m. Played at the Maracanã in Rio, 5:25 p.m. local, with Dallas as the designated home team on neutral ground. Baltimore is favored by 3 after blowing a fourth quarter lead to New Orleans, while Dak Prescott threw four touchdowns against Washington. The 51.5 point total is the highest of the week.
- Falcons at Packers, Thursday 8:15 p.m. The game that locks your sheet. Green Bay opens at Lambeau as a 7 point favorite after an overtime win over the Jets. Atlanta is 0 and 2 and benched Cooper Rush in Week 2, so confirm the Falcons starter before you commit.
Two more quarterback notes. Jaxson Dart left the Giants’ 28 to 6 loss to the Rams with a knee injury, though general manager Joe Schoen says he will be fine. Kyler Murray has cleared concussion protocol and starts for 2 and 0 Minnesota at Tampa Bay.
One scoring tip. Nine games kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET, so more than half the sheet is settled in one three hour block. In confidence pools, spread your top numbers across the day rather than stacking them in that window.
