Roster News Before the Opener
Two moves reshaped the defense. Myles Garrett arrived from Cleveland for Jared Verse and three draft picks, then Aaron Donald came out of retirement on August 30 for a one year deal worth $20 million. Garrett missed most of camp with a knee issue and returned to practice on September 6. McVay is taking the entire roster to Australia, but Donald’s playing status for the opener is still open.
