2026 Titans Preseason Results

Tennessee went 2 and 1 in August, winning at Levi’s Stadium and beating the defending Super Bowl LX champion Seattle Seahawks at home before dropping the finale to Chicago.

2Sun, Aug 23vs SeahawksW 19–16

The Titans cut to 53 players on August 30, then reshaped the bottom of the roster a day later by claiming five players off waivers, among them offensive tackle James Hudson III and linebacker Owen Pappoe. Cam Ward and Mitchell Trubisky are the only quarterbacks on the active roster.

Will Levis cleared waivers unclaimed, and Hendon Hooker is back on the practice squad. Joey Slye handles kicking, Tommy Townsend punts and Morgan Cox stays at long snapper.

Key Matchups, Bye Week and What Changed in Nashville

The opener writes itself. Robert Saleh, hired on January 22, 2026 after a 3-14 season, begins his Titans tenure against the New York Jets, the club he led from 2021 until his firing five games into the 2024 season. Edge rusher Jermaine Johnson faces his old team too, having come to Nashville in the March 2026 trade that sent nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat to New York.

Week 3 in New Jersey is the deeper reunion. Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll was the New York Giants head coach before Tennessee hired him, and receiver Wan’Dale Robinson, cornerback Cor’Dale Flott, tight end Daniel Bellinger and center Austin Schlottmann all followed the same path to Nashville. A week later comes another familiar face: Derrick Henry meets the Titans in Baltimore for the first time since he left in free agency.

The AFC South arrives in pairs. Houston visits in Week 5 and hosts the finale in Week 18. Indianapolis hosts in Week 6 and visits in Week 15. Jacksonville is the odd one, with the two meetings just two weeks apart in Weeks 10 and 12. The Week 9 bye lands directly before that Jaguars stretch.

Tennessee drew no primetime games, joining the Jets, Raiders, Dolphins and Cardinals as the only five clubs shut out of the night windows. Its last night game came in September 2024. The tradeoff is a softer slate, since 2026 opponents went a combined .476 in 2025, the eighth easiest schedule in the league according to ESPN. Sportsbooks still opened the win total at 6.5.

The roster looks different too. Receiver Carnell Tate went fourth overall and edge rusher Keldric Faulk followed at 31 in a two pick first round. John Franklin-Myers and Solomon Thomas reunite with Saleh on the defensive line, alongside Pro Bowl tackle Jeffery Simmons. Schlottmann and rookie right guard Fernando Carmona start on a line rebuilt after it allowed 55 sacks of Cam Ward last season. Gus Bradley is the defensive coordinator, with Saleh calling the defensive plays.

Off the field, 2026 is a season of goodbyes and firsts. It is the final year at the current Nissan Stadium before the new enclosed venue next door opens in 2027, and the first year of the rebrand unveiled in March: a white T inside a Titans blue circle with three white stars for the state’s three grand divisions, no flames, and a white helmet carrying a six string stripe for Music City. The look revives the Luv Ya Blue palette of the franchise’s Houston Oilers years.

Games worth circling

  • Week 1 vs Jets, September 13. Saleh’s debut against his former club.
  • Week 2 vs Eagles, September 20. The toughest home test of the year arrives early.
  • Week 3 at Giants, September 27. Daboll and four ex Giants return to MetLife Stadium.
  • Week 4 at Ravens, October 4. Derrick Henry against the team he carried for eight years.
  • Week 5 vs Texans, October 11. Division opener against the AFC South favorite.
  • Week 10 vs Jaguars, November 15. First of two meetings inside three weeks.
  • Week 17 vs Steelers, January 3. The final scheduled game at the current Nissan Stadium.

Home seats are sold through the Titans ticket office and SeatGeek, the club’s official primary ticketing partner, with verified resale on SeatGeek, StubHub, Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats. Prices for the Eagles, Steelers and division games tend to climb as kickoff nears, so booking early is usually cheaper.

How to Watch the Tennessee Titans Schedule on TV and Streaming

Every assigned game on the Tennessee Titans schedule is on free over the air television. CBS carries ten and FOX has six, all regional Sunday afternoon windows. Nothing sits on NBC, ESPN, Prime Video or Netflix, which makes the streaming picture simple. Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta call the Week 1 opener for CBS, with Aditi Kinkhabwala on the sideline.
