The last three dates are genuinely open, not just missing a kickoff time. Both the Week 16 trip to Atlanta and the Week 17 home game against the Rams are on the NFL’s shortlist for a Saturday NFL Network doubleheader, on December 26 and January 2, so the league holds each date until later in the season. Week 18 at New Orleans falls on January 9 or 10, 2027 and is announced only once Week 17 finishes.
Earlier kickoffs can move too. Sunday afternoon games shift between 1:00, 4:05 and 4:25 PM ET, or into a night window, on at least 12 days notice, dropping to 6 days for Sundays in Weeks 14 to 17. Compare the rest of the league on our 2026 NFL schedule page.
Key Matchups, Bye Week and Primetime Games
The season opens with an unusual shape. After a road trip to Cincinnati, Tampa Bay plays three straight at Raymond James Stadium against the Browns, Vikings and Packers, then heads to Dallas on a short week. The reward is a mini break: after Thursday, October 8 the Bucs do not play again until October 18.
Three games stand out on the calendar:
- Week 5, Thursday, October 8 at the Cowboys, 8:15 PM on Prime Video. Thursday Night Football at AT&T Stadium and the first national showcase for Zac Robinson’s offense.
- Week 9, Sunday, November 8 at the Bears, 8:20 PM on NBC. Sunday Night Football at Soldier Field against the reigning NFC North champions.
- Week 12, Monday, November 30 vs the Panthers, 8:15 PM on ESPN. A Monday night division game in Tampa. This one is ESPN only, with no ABC simulcast, so an antenna will not get it.
NFC South games decide the season
Six division games are spread across the back half. Carolina comes in Weeks 7 and 12, the Falcons in Weeks 8 and 16, and the Saints in Weeks 15 and 18. Four of those six land in the final seven weeks, and the season ends at the Superdome, which is exactly the sort of finish that decides tiebreakers.
Both Atlanta games carry a subplot. Zac Robinson ran the Falcons offense for two seasons before Tampa Bay hired him, so he faces his old employer twice in nine weeks.
A late bye in Week 10
The bye falls on the weekend of November 15, after nine games. That is late enough to be useful for injury recovery but it means no midseason breather during the September and October run. The Bucs come out of it at Detroit, then play five NFC opponents in their last seven games.
What changed in Tampa this offseason
The roster looks different in a way the schedule does not show:
- Mike Evans left. He signed a three year deal worth up to $60.4 million with San Francisco after 12 seasons in Tampa. His NFL record streak of 11 straight 1,000 yard seasons ran from 2014 to 2024, tying Jerry Rice, and ended when injuries held him to eight games in 2025.
- Lavonte David retired after 14 seasons and 1,714 career tackles, all in Tampa.
- Zac Robinson is the new offensive coordinator, the fifth man in that job in five years after Byron Leftwich, Dave Canales, Liam Coen and Josh Grizzard. Danny Smith arrives from Pittsburgh to run special teams.
- The defense got the draft capital. Miami edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. went 15th overall and linebacker Josiah Trotter went 46th, with Alex Anzalone, A’Shawn Robinson and Christian Rozeboom added in free agency.
- Baker Mayfield is playing out his contract. Extension talks ended before camp opened, so 2026 is the final year of his three year, $100 million deal.
- Two camp stories to watch. Defensive tackle Vita Vea requested a trade in late July after his own extension talks stalled, and left tackle Tristan Wirfs tweaked a hamstring in the July 29 conditioning test.
Tampa Bay finished 8 and 9 in 2025, second in the NFC South behind Carolina on head to head tiebreakers, and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2019. Todd Bowles enters his fifth season as head coach with Jason Licht in his 13th year as general manager.
How to Watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Schedule on TV and Streaming
The network split for 2026 is FOX seven games, CBS four, and one each on Prime Video, NBC and ESPN, with Weeks 16, 17 and 18 still unassigned. FOX carries most of it because the Buccaneers are an NFC team, and CBS picks up the games against AFC opponents.
In the Tampa Bay market the over the air channels that matter are FOX on WTVT, channel 13, CBS on WTSP, channel 10, and NBC on WFLA, channel 8, which also carries all three preseason games. ABC on WFTS, channel 28, has no Buccaneers game this season, because the one Monday night game is an ESPN exclusive.
A digital antenna therefore covers 12 of the 14 games that already have a network assigned. Make it 13 of 14 in practice: the NFL requires Thursday Night Football to air on a free local station in both competing teams’ markets, so the Week 5 game at Dallas will be on an over the air channel in Tampa as well as Prime Video.
Only the Week 12 Monday nighter needs a subscription. Here is where each streaming option fits:
| PLATFORM | WHAT IT COVERS FOR BUCCANEERS FANS |
|---|---|
| NFL+ | Live local and primetime games on a phone or tablet only, plus out of market preseason on mobile and TV. From $6.99 a month. |
| Paramount+ | Whatever your local CBS affiliate is airing, which in Tampa is all four CBS games. The cheaper Essential tier opens the local feed only while a game is live; Premium carries CBS around the clock. |
| Peacock | Every NBC game including the Week 9 Sunday nighter at Chicago. |
| ESPN Unlimited | The Week 12 Monday night game against Carolina, $29.99 a month. NFL RedZone is not included and needs the NFL+ Premium bundle. |
| Prime Video | The Week 5 Thursday night game at Dallas, included with a Prime membership. |
| NFL Sunday Ticket | Out of market Sunday afternoon games, sold through YouTube and YouTube TV. |
| YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV, Fubo | Carry FOX, CBS, NBC, ESPN and NFL Network in one subscription. Fubo only restored NBC in June after a seven month blackout and local affiliates are still rolling out, so check your zip code before relying on it for the Sunday night game. |
| Game Pass International on DAZN | Every game for fans watching from outside the United States. |
On the radio, 98ROCK, WXTB 97.9 FM, is the flagship, with affiliates across Florida on the Buccaneers Radio Network. Tony Castricone takes over play by play in 2026 after Gene Deckerhoff’s 37 year run, with Dave Moore returning as analyst and T.J. Rives on the sideline.
Spanish language coverage runs on La Invasora, WTMP 96.1 FM, with Carlos Bohorquez calling the action alongside Martin Gramatica.
Tickets and Training Camp
Single game tickets and season tickets are sold through Buccaneers.com, with resale on Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, StubHub and Vivid Seats. Prices swing with the opponent, and the Monday night meeting with Carolina plus the two other division home games tend to be the most expensive at Raymond James Stadium.
Training camp runs at the AdventHealth Training Center with eight practices open to fans from July 30 to August 9, all starting at 8:30 AM except the night session on August 4, which begins at 7:00 PM.
Some sessions are reserved for Krewe members and other groups rather than open to the general public, so check the team site before turning up.

Why are Weeks 16, 17 and 18 listed as TBD?
The NFL holds those dates back. Week 16 at Atlanta is a candidate for a Saturday NFL Network doubleheader, so it falls on December 26 or 27, and Week 17 against the Rams is in the same position for January 2 or 3. Week 18 at New Orleans lands on January 9 or 10, 2027 and is set only after Week 17 finishes.
The 2026 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Schedule gives this team a chance to settle early, with three home games in the first four weeks and a ten day gap after the Thursday night trip to Dallas. What it also does is put the season’s verdict in December and January, where four of six NFC South games wait and the finale is at New Orleans.
Download the printable PDF above, mark the three primetime nights, and check back for the Week 16, 17 and 18 dates as the NFL confirms them. For more team pages,
