*Week 18 is unassigned across the league. The NFL sets the date, kickoff time and network after Week 17 finishes, so Arizona hosts San Francisco on either Saturday, January 9 or Sunday, January 10, 2027.
FOX carries 10 games, CBS carries 6 and Week 18 is open. In Phoenix that puts 16 of 17 games free over the air on KSAZ, FOX 10, and KPHO, CBS 5. Arizona drew no Sunday, Monday or Thursday night assignment, so every kickoff from Week 1 to Week 17 sits in a Sunday afternoon window: four at 1:00 PM ET, seven at 4:05 PM and five at 4:25 PM. Flex scheduling can still move a game, with Sunday night flexes allowed from Week 5, Monday night from Week 12 and Thursday night from Week 13.
Where the Cardinals Stand After Preseason
Arizona opened the entire NFL preseason in the Hall of Fame Game and finished 1 and 3. The results told two stories: a first team offense that moved the ball and a defense that gave up points in bunches.
| GAME | DATE | OPPONENT | RESULT |
|---|---|---|---|
| HOF | Thu, Aug 6 | vs Panthers | L 30 to 33 |
| 1 | Thu, Aug 13 | @ Raiders | W 27 to 14 |
| 2 | Sat, Aug 22 | vs Cowboys | L 13 to 34 |
| 3 | Fri, Aug 28 | @ Packers | L 38 to 42 |
Three things carried over from camp into the opener week:
- Jacoby Brissett is QB1. He sits atop the first depth chart of the season, ahead of Gardner Minshew II and rookie third round pick Carson Beck. Brissett went 5 for 5 for 44 yards and a touchdown in his only extended preseason work, against the Raiders. Kyler Murray was released in March and signed with the Vikings.
- The backfield is thin. James Conner opened the season on injured reserve with a return designation, so he is out at least four games, and Trey Benson is on IR as well. Rookie Jeremiyah Love, the third overall pick, is still working back from the high ankle sprain he suffered in the preseason opener at Las Vegas and stays a game time call for Week 1. Tyler Allgeier, signed from Atlanta in March, is next in line if Love cannot go.
- New voices on the sideline. Mike LaFleur runs his first season as a head coach after coordinating the Rams offense. Nick Rallis stays as defensive coordinator with Teryl Austin added as senior defensive assistant, a response to the 488 points Arizona allowed in 2025, the most in franchise history. Nathaniel Hackett calls the offense.
- The pass catchers got paid. Michael Wilson signed a three year extension worth $75 million on September 3, locking him in alongside Marvin Harrison Jr. and tight end Trey McBride. Center Hjalte Froholdt also extended through 2028.
Key Matchups on the 2026 Arizona Cardinals Schedule
The season is front loaded with travel. Arizona plays six of its first nine on the road, then six of the last eight at State Farm Stadium.
- Week 2 vs Seattle. The home opener brings in the reigning Super Bowl LX champions and starts the NFC West slate.
- Week 4 at the Giants. New York is the opponent Arizona has faced more than any other in franchise history, and the two have not met since 2023.
- Week 8 at Dallas. Arizona is 4 and 0 all time at AT&T Stadium.
- Weeks 11 to 13. A trip to the Chiefs followed by home dates with the Commanders and Eagles, the hardest three week block on the card.
- Week 18 vs San Francisco. A home division finale the league leaves open on purpose.
The bye lands in Week 14, the latest on the 2026 calendar and shared only with Dallas. That means 13 straight game weeks to open the year, then four straight to close it. All six NFC West games are on the card: Seattle in Weeks 2 and 9, San Francisco in Weeks 3 and 18, the Rams in Weeks 6 and 10.
Outside the division Arizona draws the full NFC East and AFC West plus the Lions, Jets and Saints. Nine of the 17 games come against teams that made the 2025 playoffs, which is why Pro Football Focus rated this the toughest slate in the league.
How to Watch Cardinals Games on TV and Streaming
Because the whole slate sits on CBS and FOX, following Arizona costs less than it does for most teams.
| OPTION | WHAT IT COVERS | COST |
|---|---|---|
| Antenna, over the air | All 16 assigned games on FOX 10 or CBS 5 in Phoenix | Free |
| Paramount+ | The six NFL on CBS games | From $8.99 a month |
| Live TV streaming | CBS and FOX on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo or DirecTV | About $74 to $90 a month |
| NFL+ | Live local games, phone and tablet only | $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year |
| NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube | Out of market Sunday afternoon games | $240 a year for new subscribers |
Three details trip fans up every year. Sling TV does not carry CBS, so it cannot cover the full Arizona slate. NFL+ live games play on phones and tablets only and cannot be cast to a television. NFL Sunday Ticket is for out of market viewers, so it does nothing for someone watching in Phoenix. NFL RedZone remains a paid add on and comes bundled with NFL+ Premium.
On radio, Cardinals games air in English on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, KMVP, with affiliates statewide, and in Spanish on TUDN Phoenix 105.1 FM and Latino Mix 100.3 FM, KQMR, under the team’s new partnership with TelevisaUnivision.
